Shukumine no Bassai (sho)
Shukumine no Bassai (sho) (祝嶺の抜塞(小)), Shukumine no Bassai (sho)) is a kata trained in Genseiryu and must be performed for the 4th dan examination (adults only as children's curriculum only exist up to and including 2nd dan after which they transfer to the adult's curriculum).
Shukumine no Bassai (Sho) (祝嶺のバッサイ(小)) is derived from kata Shukumine no Bassai.

It's interesting to compare Shukumine no Bassai Sho with Shukumine no Bassai Dai*. In Shukumine no Bassai Sho, a successive Shuto-uchi and palm hand thrust is performed repeatedly into four directions.
A ring block in Neko-Ashi-dachi, a strike with two hands and an Oi-tsuki are performed in succession. It's necessary for practitioners to have stability in the lower part of the body.
Practitioners are required to be powerful in their expression of the kata.
